WELCOME YOU!  - SYDNEY SPOKES is the home of gay and lesbian cycling in Sydney.

YOU'RE INVITED! – JOIN SYDNEY SPOKES on our many and varied rides and events.

WHATEVER YOUR LEVEL OF RIDING!

You might be just learning cycling, an experienced cyclist, someone resuming cycling or anywhere in between. We promise cycling with us will be a great experience.

WHAT WE DO AND HOW WE DO IT!

We are a bunch of people who love cycling and happen to be gay or lesbian. Most weekends you can join one of our rides led by a friendly experienced ride leader. You will meet and ride with other gay and lesbian cyclists pleased to have you join Sydney Spokes..

WE HAVE RIDES AND EVENTS TO INTEREST EVERYONE:

•     rides graded easy medium and hard
•     coffee shop crawls
•     rides to take you exploring beautiful parts of Sydney
•     tough training rides
•     gay heartland tour rides
•     rides at places in outer Sydney and beyond like Windsor, Central Coast, Illawarra Coast
•     overnight stay country rides
•     Mardi Gras Parade and Fair Day participation
•     social events
•     bike maintenance classes
•     off road  mountain bike rides

Cycling with friends is fun. Cycling with gay and lesbian riding friends is an amazing relaxed and liberating experience. Just be yourself! Experience great rides, improve your fitness, enjoy friendly company. By the end of your first ride you will feel like part of Sydney Spokes and be looking forward to your next ride.

We are affiliated with and actively involved with the peak state cycling organization, Bicycle New South Wales under our alternate name GAYBUG [BUG stands for Bicycle User Group].

Maybe you are visiting from overseas or interstate. You may want to meet and ride with gay and lesbian cyclists in Sydney. You are very welcome to ride with us. We can help you enjoy Sydney while you visit.
