Bike handling skills - free course
AustCycle is an organisation whose role is "providing cycling training for all people who want to ride bikes for
recreation and transport." The next free training courses will be in Haberfield on Saturday, July 18 and Saturday, July 31.
The course is aimed at people who can already ride, but would like to improve their skills through learning more about balancing, pedalling, manoeuvring and stopping a bike. Each five-hour workshop starts with bike set-up, road worthiness, bike skills and road rules. It finishes with a ride and a coffee.
Bookings essential: call Donna at AustCycle on 0414 476 369. Participants must have their own bike and helmet.
